June 23 is the availability date that it has been slated for from the beginning. However, and I will be the first to admit, if the K7 arrives on time it will be the first offering from AMD in history to do so.

This whole thing reminds me of the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo saga. Intel's 786 (Super Nintendo) will be every bit as good as the K7 (Genesis), but by the time it comes out, AMD (Sega) will have cut deep wounds that may never heal. Now who the Sony is that will come crash the party (and kill AMD, plus continue to hurt Intel) is not known yet. hee
