Based on the acquisition of Spinner and Nullsoft, it appears that AOL is competing more directly with Yahoo. The alignment of interests is uncannily similary - Yahoo-Broadcast and AOL-Spinner-Nullsoft. Of course, the missing link in the Yahoo arrangement is the software or the company analagous to Nullsoft. I'd be tempted to say it could be RNWK but I think Glaser has other ideas and wants to stay independent.

Imagine for a second, if RNWK had a shot at becoming the generic/de-facto audio/video playback software in most homes in America once the broadband build out approaches > 50 % completion. I'd love to have a small slice of revenue from umpteen million households but the next best thing is owning the stock of the company that could have that revenue. Would you sell the company to Yahoo or not??? Thoughts from anyone???
