Art and Thread,

Although I do not subscribe to TA it seems like we have formed a reasonable base in the $30 range. The float seems to be held more tightly now as people warm up to the viability of digital photography, mp3, and the new breed of PDA's. I am hoping that some of the recent dips have attracted new investors who were on the sidelines waiting for the chance to jump in. All the complaining we did with the stock recently at $18.00 is a bit easier to swallow now. I still am always a bit on guard after last year, but the recent price stability is reassuring for the time being.

For those who are interested I will be posting on a related thread about SNDK and its growth potential. Again, I don't want to be caught in a cheerleader's outfit with pom-poms in full bloom, so I am hoping the presentation will be tantalizing, yet balanced. If anybody wishes to follow along you can link to this...

...and tell me if I am getting out of line.

I wanted to thank NY Stew for the book recommendation (The Gorilla Game by Geoffrey Moore) which I have read twice in the last 2 weeks. It as it has really opened my eyes to SNDK and high tech investing. IMHO, the parallels are haunting. One almost wonders if Eli got an pre-press copy of the first edition. Stew was an AOL SanDisk Thread contributor when I first learned about SNDK over a year ago. It is great to have him back and tuned into the SI SanDisk thread.

SAFE HARBOR: At this point I wanted to disclose that I am still very long SNDK and that it is still difficult to control my enthusiasm at times. Anybody who is uncertain of their position or who is overextended (as I have been) consider this a good time to reconsider their investment strategy. I still am fearful of carrying the SNDK flag to boldly, especially as I travel out of the familiarity of this thread into uncharted waters. I have only confided in a few thread members the unpleasant experiences of 1998 when I received threatening private messages last year as SNDK tanked. This on top of my own personal (paper) losses at the time.
