When someone says "Send me a fax" or "I'll fax it to you" I say "Well, I CAN receive [send] a fax, but I have to reconfigure my PC, reboot, and you'll have to let me know just when it's coming [you can receive it]." Without exception there's an instant better alternative. Email of course with formatted attachments is the most reasonable. It's just a knee jerk kick from an outmoded technology, I conclude.
