Although I agree that by far most of Yahoo is Spam and hype, I've personally found some use in it. I follow Mattson Technology very closely and contribute both here and on Yahoo. I've found there are some who have things to contribute that are not part of SI. I've found valid additions from those inside the company, those who have valid negative things to say that don't want to be harassed, and those to frugal to join SI :') I discount or ignore posters until they establish a track record, just as we do here on SI.

ps. I post info on the company I work for on Yahoo only, under another name, to avoid problems at work. I have been amazed on the valid inside information that has been posted there by others.
