Bill,

I have the following 13SMA falling below the 55SMA based on todays
closing data:

13SMA 55SMA
SPX 1320 1323
NDX 2104 2121
OEX 666 667
COMP 2494 2500

Above
DJ30 10755 10459

Looking back to 97 and 98 the 13 dipped below the 55 then the market
headed sideways to up for 2.5-3 months where the 13 crossed over the
55 again. Then, only after closing below the 55 SMA did we see a large sell off.

I think your 2 days maybe something more like 2 months and 2 days...:>))
