Keep your shirt on jla. If you follow that post back to the original you will find that it was directed to necon. I'm gonna try one more time cause reasonable or not you are starting to frustrate me. Look you claim a fetus is human. Thus it deserves all the protections and basic human rights as any other human. Do we agree so far? To say other wise would be to place it in a sub human [my definition btw ]or second class status,no? You make an exception to the no abortion rule because of sympathy to an extremely traumatized woman. Am I right so far? Now can you tell me what exception you would make that would allow the state to sanction the killing of a three year old child or any acknowledged innocent living human? The point being since there is no justification or exceptions for the state to sanction the death of a three year old how can you sanction the death of said fetus while at the same time claiming human status for it? BTW necon's saying that this is ok because he's only 95% sure a fetus is human is pretty silly on the face of it.I guess he means that for every 100 rape / abortions you will only have 5 dead humans.I think you can see that this makes no sense. He clearly has run out of ideas. So I repeat.... <sigh>.... This is not about life it is about controling for the sake of idealogy .
