Hi Bob. Haven't chatted with you for a while. I'm going to have a Q2 Great Canadian Stock Contest and thought I would post an invitation to some of the hottest stock threads to come and compelte my survey regarding 3 rules/issues: To all - If you haven't dropped by yet please come and complete my 3 question survey re: The Great Canadian Stock Contest. I have decided to have a 2nd quarter contest and am looking for input regarding some of the rules. techstocks.com The basic rules will remain the same. You must select 5 Cdn listed stocks which have traded within the last 30 days. Performance is measured by comparing the June 30 closing price to the March 31 closing price and calculating the percentage gain (or loss). The average of your 5 stocks' pctg return over the quarter will be applied to an imaginary $10,000 portfolio consisting of $2,000 in each of your 5 stocks. No trades or changes in the middle of the contest. If a stock does not trade, is delisted, or is halted then its previous closing price shall be used. Name changes, splits, consolidations etc. will have the original price adjusted to reflect the ending stock name and structure.
