I may very well be wrong about selling, but when newspaper reporters are on SI interviewing investors about their loses, I would tend to think that most of the selling have been done already.

If the Fed were to raise interest rates, I beleive that there will be a relief rally. The market seems to have already pushed up the rate up there. But my fear is that till the Fed meeting is over, the market will be in the present mood. But, note Alice Rivlin's comments today. The Fed is watching the situation closely, but the rate hike is still not a given IMO.

What I don't understand is that with crude and metal prices are dropping (which are forward indicators) how can the market be so concerned about inflation? And how can AA go up when Al prices has weak?
