News of the weird frequently has things from California. That wouldn't include me walking down to the condo pool yesterday. Sheila was loafing by the pool soaking up rays. Sheila's a babe. As she saw me walk up she said "Look" and pointed over to the jacuzzi. A quite large green and brown iguana was lounging in the hot-tub. He was about a three-footer, with the end of his tail missing. I walked over and grabbed him by the back of his neck and hauled him out of the tub. Can't have unauthorized lizards in there, insurance won't cover it, that's for sure. Took him back to La Casa Freddy where I put him in protective custody in a terrarium, where is now munching on romaine lettuce and carrots. He's sort of neighborhood celebrity. I'm thinking of naming him/her for one of the DAR regulars.
