Read My Last Post!! Niles news was out last week!!!

If you read my last post you will note I reported that the rumour regarding missed earnings this quarter due to heavier price cuts was out last week. ML and others knew or at least strongly suspected that Niles was going to make his statement. I find it absolutely amazing that here it comes today and it is such a big surprise. By the way ML thinks Niles is crazy. No product mix data has been released by intc to Niles or anyone else for that matter. To believe that Niles can ascertain what intc's product mix is without inside info. and with the 3rd month of the quarter just beginning is pure fantasy. Opinion is growing that Niles will continue to lose credibility as he makes outrageous opinions unsupported by substantiated and credible evidence. ML says that Niles seems to have conveniently forgotten that intc's price cuts have resulted in increased market share at the low end. Indeed, sales have a good chance of coming in higher than forecasted due to increased market share from amd. Overall Q2 profits are likely to come in as forecasted with no change in profit margins. Low end profit margins are reduced but are expected to be offset by increased margins on higher end. Don't fall for the sucker bait Niles is spewing!!

I will continue to post brokerage/analyst info. here regarding intc that on some occasions will precede cnbc by a day or two.
