Here is what i found. A technology is documented in a research report published November 2, 1995, by Dr. William W. Mohn of the Department of Microbiology, University of British Columbia, Canada. It is able to absorb 60 times its own weight in toxic liquid waste, giving it the highest absorbancy rate in the industry, almost 3 times higher than it's nearest competitor.
