I hope you are right, and there's a better than even chance you are. But the Balkan war/reconstruction costs, reacceleration of U.S. health care costs, bills for the budget tricks in 93 and 94 coming due, Al Gore's floundering (and perceived need to give away the store) are all playing havoc with people's budget predictions.

Either way, I don't plan on getting in the way of the bond market here.
