I just started a new thread under EMUS. Here's today's news:

GOODNOISE BECOMES EMUSIC.COM; BEGINS TRADING ON NASDAQ
New Name and Web Site Launch Coincides with Move to National Market
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- GoodNoise Corporation, the Internet's leading seller of downloadable music, today announced that it is changing its name to EMusic.com Inc. The company also announced that beginning today, shares of its common stock, formerly traded on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTC Bulletin Board: GDNO), will begin trading on the Nasdaq National Market System under the symbol EMUS (Nasdaq: EMUS).

(Photo: newscom.com ) The change to EMusic.com reflects the company's mission to be the premier Web site in the emerging market for downloadable music. GoodNoise acquired the domain "emusic.com" in its acquisition of Creative Fulfillment, Inc., earlier this year. The formal change of the company's name is subject to stockholder approval at a special meeting of stockholders, which is anticipated in July. GoodNoise will begin operating as EMusic.com immediately.

"We believe that EMusic is an ideal name from a variety of perspectives. In addition to its simplicity and memorability, it also defines our focus -- the electronic distribution of music," said Gene Hoffman, president and CEO, EMusic.com Inc. "As we expand from our initial focus on modern/alternative rock and into genres such as Jazz, World/Fusion and Classical, EMusic provides a flexible brand that will work across these categories."

In conjunction with the name change, the company also announced:

-- A new Web site under the domain EMusic.com that features thousands of
tracks from established artists, a new look and feel, new content
organization by genre, and enhanced usability
-- The appointment of Ed Rosenblatt, former head of Geffen Records, to
the company's board of directors
-- A license agreement with King Biscuit Entertainment and the addition
of more than 60 albums from the label's four imprints

New Web Site
As part of the rollout of its new brand, EMusic.com unveiled a
completely redesigned Web site focused on providing consumers with a
more efficient buying and downloading process. In addition to a new
look and feel featuring the EMusic.com brand, the new Web site now
offers the ability to browse by genre, by artist and by label.
Consumers who go to GoodNoise.com will be automatically referred to
EMusic.com.

Ed Rosenblatt Joins EMusic Board of Directors
Rosenblatt, an icon in the music business, helped David Geffen
found Geffen Records in 1980 and served as the label's president and
chief operating officer for 15 years before becoming chairman in 1994.
He has more than 45 years of experience in the music industry.

Deal with King Biscuit Entertainment
EMusic.com continues to aggressively expand its catalog of
downloadable music titles and tracks. EMusic.com has signed a license
agreement with The King Biscuit Entertainment Group. Under the terms
of the agreement, EMusic.com will release dozens of titles from King
Biscuit's four imprints, including classic live recordings from the
King Biscuit Flower Hour archive, for download in the MP3 format.
Beginning today, over 60 full albums from artists including America, Bachman Turner Overdrive, David Crosby, Greg Kihn, Iggy Pop, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Romantics, Kansas and Robin Trower are available for download. Singles from the albums will be released in the near future. EMusic.com and King Biscuit will release additional titles in the coming months.

About EMusic.com
Since it was founded in January 1998, EMusic.com has established
itself as a clear leader in the rapidly expanding market for
downloadable music. Through relationships with artists and license
agreements with leading independent record labels, EMusic.com has
emerged as the premier Web site for sampling and purchasing music in
the MP3 format, which has become the de facto standard in the digital
distribution of music with millions of users around the world.
EMusic.com features a constantly expanding catalog of music and offers
music fans complete albums for $8.99 or the ability to purchase
individual tracks for $.99. EMusic.com is based in Redwood City,
California.
