I was reading today about the relatively low Internet usage across Western Europe. Well respected Jupiter Communications (US) has estimated that the number of online households in Western Europe will triple over the next five years, increasing from 14 million today (9% penetration) to over 47 million (31%) by 2003. Most of the big growth will emanate from Germany, the UK, France and Italy. Sounds like Freeserve/Globalnet strategy is right on target.
