The foods themselves are low margin, it's the other
stuff people buy when they come in for the food that's
significant. I'm noticing a backlash against superstores
like Home Depot and Walmart in my area. Nothing real big,
but I notice more and more people willing to pay a little more
in leiu of supporting the super stores. If it becomes a real trend
it can only hurt Petsmart. There are many Petcos around here
and only the one Petsmart, I wonder how they do in other areas where
they go one on one against each other.
