SBC/Mydiscountbroker.com-2:Free Trades For SBC Customers SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones)--SBC Internet Services, a unit of SBC Communications Inc. (SBC), signed a strategic marketing agreement to offer free stock trades with Mydiscountbroker.com, a unit of Southwest Securities Group Inc. (SWS). In a press release Wednesday, SBC said Southwestern Bell Internet Services and Pacific Bell Internet customers who open accounts with Mydiscountbroker.com will receive one free online trade of up to 5,000 shares once a month for one year. Southwestern Bell Internet and Pacific Bell Internet are offering dial-up Internet service at a 20% discount to Mydiscountbroker.com customers who are also new Internet customers. SBC Internet offers Internet services under the brand names Southwestern Bell Internet Services, Pacific Bell Internet Services, Nevada Bell Internet Services and SNET Internet. Mydiscountbroker.com in an online stock broker. --Bill
