(Nasdaq:ADBE - news) Wednesday said its second quarter operating earnings will narrowly beat its own previous estimates of $0.62 to $0.66 per share, driven by higher revenues of $245-$246 million. Nevertheless, San Jose, Calif.-based company, maker of popular software packages like Pagemaker and Acrobat, said it will cut 250 jobs, or 9 percent of regular employees, with a large number coming from its international operations.
