Some thoughts for what they are worth (maybe real money).. Home sale figures are phenomenal. Today's national home-sale figures were amazing, plus I heard a May sales figure yesterday from my own brokerage firm that breaks all records. When homes sell at their present pace, the buyers do lots of spending to furnish and fix up the house. Think of all the retail firms which sell what they need. Interest rates might indeed go up, but certain industries are going to report a very profitable next quarter. Think of building materials, furniture, household goods, hardware, I noticed a little stock named BMHC shot up today. Gee.....wonder why? Another little stock (MAS) also shot up today, probably for the same reason.
