Rod, you've certainly been using the lack of multiprocessor (SMP) capability in the K6 a lot in your posts. In fact, I and Paul Engel were also of a mind that K6 didn't support SMP. However, Albert K. posted something back to me that I can't find anymore, what with the plethora of postings, that said AMD and Cyrix had worked together on SMP and did have it. I can't find any mention on the K6 announcement, and, studying their architectural block diagrams, I find no sign of any registers or even hooks for it.

This needs clearing up.
