RE: <Then, does it follow that this feature does make DRDRAM the best for interleaving, and the choice for PCs with multiple sources doing DMA accesses on main memory (like Ten's example of "systems which have multiple sources all accessing memory concurrently, like the Coppermine processor, AGP-4x graphics card, and PCI devices(A3D sound card, network card, disk controller")?>

I can't think of any reason to say drdram is good for interleaving. You may have some usage for that word that I don't understand but I'd say that it make interleaving unnecesary. As far as I know interleaving means to use many drams in parallel and then mux them down to match the bus width and get higher bandwidth. Maybe you're saying that drdrams interleave internally. OK.

As for the multiple sources, I think that it is true that drdram is designed for multiple sources. If you want to show that drdram is better than sdram then choose a system with many multiple sources. Of course even in a simple system you still have multiple source. You're fetching code from one area, you're got a stack somewhere else, then you've got data in several places. drdram might have open pages for each of these and you're getting page hits. But I caution that it is very hard to predict how these effects play out in real systems.
