In actuality it is not old news. The prior announcement was that CBOE would trade WAVX Options. The release just prior posted is that AMEX will ALSO be trading WAVX options. It is not earth-shattering news, but is another indication of projected long-term confidence that WAVX stock will be reasonably active and that it is not seen as a flash-in-the-pan.
