Yamana's Bacon, Martinetas,etc. properties which have been the subject of recent news releases are located in Santa Cruz Province which is in SOUTHERN Argentina. This is Patagonia, a relatively flat terrain swept by strong winds descending from the Andes to the west. In winter (now) it snows, though variably, and gets wet. It's the wetness that causes problems, access to these properties is by dirt roads which turn to soupy mud. Highly unlikely Yamana will be drilling during this period because even though it is possible, they would have to be burning a lot of non-drilling cash on road maintenance and weather-related shut-downs.
