Anyone know why CS has filed for an extension to their 10-K? It was mentioned on the Yahoo message board and it does seem to be true (http://www.edgar-online.com/brand/yahoo/search/?sym=cs) but I'm too cheap to pay for the privilege of reading this news a day early. It probably wouldn't tell me much anyway. The person who first pointed it out (SAVOY46) suggested it was a prelude to a buyout, since CS accounting would be too busy getting their books in order for a buyer. And additional disclosures might be in the process of being added to the annual report. Or at least I think that is the theory. Other possibility is that CS accounting is just plain slow. (Gee, they've only had 3 months!)
