Since this thread is into Internet stocks. . . thought you might appreciate the OTHER side to successful TRADING. . . knowing when to sell.
I am glad there are those like Steve that can sort through the internet stocks and discuss the pros and cons of the individual issues. . . and I only mean to help readers here. . NOT to point out the obvious or rub noses into anything.
TRADING internet issues is much like trading OTC. . . and without sufficient experience, can be a frustrating ordeal. I genuinely feel for those going through this. . . I have been there.
Sometimes the biggest gains made are losses that were not realized. . .due to knowing when to sell. So I thought I would share with your thread, some predictions concerning just that.
Prediction: 8:30am April 19, 1999
I still don't think we have seen the bottom on the internets. I think this whole rotation churn is setting the advantaged up with just what they want/need for the summer. . . we must do same. . . . . . . . . . . I am looking to buy ATHM at 100 [pre-split]. . .DCLK at 90. . .NDB in the 20's. . . SIEB in the teens. . . Message 9000974
DCLK now at 81. . .was at 138 1/16 when called to 90 on April 19, last week it was revised downward to a low of 65. . .I'm a buyer below 70. [incidently. . .called DCLK a short at 101 just yesterday]
ATHM now at 107. . was at 146 when called under 100 on April 19
SIEB now at 22. . . was at 33 3/4 when called to the TEENS on April 19

Conspicuously missing are the internets. . . .not interested until I see my prices. . . .DCLK, ATHM, YHOO, AMZN etc. under 100 and SEEK, EGRP, EXDS under 40. . . .SIEB and NDB in the teens. . . . .gives a good picture of the value I am now placing on them. . . .yup, these were the same stocks I was buying high and selling higher. . . no more this summer. . .looking for lows to be hit over next 2 months.
