Current Week's Update from:
goinvest.com

June 2, 1999 - The Novas Scotia Department of Labour has received our response to order #570013-1 respecting Section 18(1) of First Aid Regulations pursuant to Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act. The order is thereby complied with and considered closed.

Doug Boddy has explained to the Department of Mines that the ramp was not excavated by us rather was used in conjunction with mining at this site 100 & 150 years ago. The inspectors were pleased with our improvement of the ramp area for safety reasons.

A preliminary survey has been conducted on the west-end of our claims at the Country Harbour side. The western extensions of the anticline and syncline have been located with large masses of veins in each. The structure now measures 2 miles in length. A complete sampling program will have to be initiated on the western end of the Middle Anticline that was also located on the Country Harbour side. All this exploration work was conducted by boat as the West Side of the claims has a vertical wall from the sea.

An additional package of 15 veins has been found on the North-End of the claims.

The eastern extension of the North Anticline outcrops on Hurricane Island. We intersected this anticline in hole #5. In the outcrop is a cluster of 8 veins, all of which require sampling. We located considerable drift gold in sizes of up to 3mm as course nuggets when we panned the beach area below these veins.
