Would FTC allow Ingram deal if AMZN not involved?
BKS (and that effects BNBN too) dropped deal, but the deal did involve a company that was dealing with AMZN, the thought being, maybe after the acquisition, BKS would not allow Ingram to continue sales to AMZN which is the main competitor of BKS and BNBN (as well as Borders BGP)
Maybe they might allow aquisitions of companies not able to threaten this new sacred cow, the "Internet Dot Com Extension of your Company", and maybe not.
In any case, BKS kept the money it would have spend,
they may be feeling rich,
Their stock's cash flow position IS RICHER,
This may help BNBN, since they may do something with THAT MONEY.
What do you think? Academic or is there still a next move/card to play?
I am,
Truly yours,
