E-DATA ANNOUNCES FILING OF APPELLATE BRIEF regarding proper Interpretation of Freeny Patent to Internet Transactions. EDTA OTC bb.

Grant Robertson, President of E-Data faxed it to me. As he gives his email and phone on the Release, here it is:
phone/fax: 011-44-1506-842711
email: grantrobertson@msn.com

Dated 6/2: I'll paraphrase: ..They filed their appellate brief to the US Ct of Appeals for the Second Circuit of NY appealing the decision of Judge Jones that ruled that the patent did NOT cover internet transactions ... to consumers who purchased and downloaded the product on their home computers.

E-Data's patent attys, Graham & Jones LLP "are confident that the Federal Circuit will reverse the decision and apply the Freeny patent to Internet transactions to the home". ....Mr. Robertson likewise expressed his confidence of the outcome of the appeal.

E-Data's new management intends to also acquire and license other patents worldwide. Hmmm, this last sentence is "news" to me. Mel
