Jim, I don't know if we will get a summer rally--we should but who knows. I am more confident in Microsoft shares than I am with the market in general---that is why I went margin on MSFT (1st time since March or January--don't remember).

I don't think MSFT wants to be labelled a monopolist due to the problems they could encounter in private lawsuits. Why not take the punishment and make it harder for future action---and be better prepared next time. If they can limit the settlement to Windows98, I don't think they will have a problem. I think they are aware that Windows CE and NT (2000) is the future for them anyways---and these are not monopoly products. Settling makes private lawsuits more difficult.

BTW--what is "TIA"?
