What are the options for going short the market, particularly in unshortable IRAs? I seem to recall an "ultra bear" S&P that leveraged puts to double the S&P drop. Anyone have any info on this? I'm particularly interested in anything that can be directly traded though a normal trading account rather than buying into a fund. Also, is it correct to say that you can simply buy BEARX from a brokerage account during the day?

Thanks in advance!

Ed
