<< The American values of intellectual freedom and freedom of speech are dear to the hearts of most Americans. Our Christian founding fathers had the wisdom to know that a free and unshackled exchange of ideas holds the key to truth. >>
I read recently (can't remember just where) that current church membership in the US is about 60%. At the time of the American Revolution it was 17%. Ever hear of Tom Paine? He was an atheist. You have to distort the meaning of "Christian" beyond anything Thomas Jefferson would have to consider Jefferson a Christian. "Christian founding fathers"? Definitely not all of them.

< These values of intellectual freedom and freedom of speech are products of the Gospels and the New Testament >>
Do you know what the word "crap" means? The Spanish Inquisition is a good example of Christian tolerance. It's not just Christianity though; all religions want a monopoly. Free speech was a product of the Enlightenment, and much of that was directed at breaking the shackles that had been imposed by religion.

Go read a little history and get some education before you open that cesspool you call a mouth, jerk.
