No reasonable investor (read expecting to hold the shares for at least 6 months) will buy the ADRs at 50% premium when he knows that for the foreseeable future, every quarter more than one months worth of trades will be dumped on the market.

I don't know about that, as your theory leaves out any reference to TSM's growth, which going along nicely. Thus, the premium can be reduced and the stock can still go up. I'm not holding this long term, but I don't think it would make such a bad LT choice, either.

By the way, really liked your book. :)
