To diverge a bit I recently read a good book on the stock market,where the author stated, not his exact words"--the reason a person buys a stock is because they think it is going to go up, and the reason they
sell is because they think it is going to go down". I agree with the first part of the statement but not the second. One year I traded 44 stocks and never once sold thinking the stock was going to go down, I sold because I thought I had found one that was going to go up faster.
I had set myself a goal of 5% a week. Also in the seventies I read an article about a stockbrocker who asked 17 customers why they sold a particular stock. Not one of them gave the same reason, and a lot of the reasons had nothing to do with the prospects of the company. So like you, small volume declines do not bother me. With QDEL patience definitely is the word. At one time to-day I noticed that the volume of QDELW was five times the volume of QDEL.
