Good question. I'm unable to locate an intraday chart for EMUS anywhere on the Net so I don't know what the trading volume variance & stock price fluctuation were. It's pretty common for a stock to runup on rumours/speculation then sell if good news comes out of it. As for the news: The ticker symbol switch was long anticipated by GDNO followers. So was the big debut of the new site. And of course AOL snapping up Spinner.com (I guess I can forget about their IPO) and Nullsoft. What surprised me was that "buy"-rating coverage was initiated by Warburg Dlln Rd. But that was reported a few minutes before open like all the other news so it's no surprise that it opened really high (35? from 29.5). I dunno what happened then - a lot of people and maybe a few day traders decided to cash out. This stock has had one hell of a runup. One day I see it at single digits, then I turn my back and it's near 30. Not to mention the Net sector has CRASHED but GDNO actually went UP. As for the buzz, it should stick around through the MP3.com IPO (whenever that is?).

Anyone want to guess as to why GDNO/EMUS didn't stay up and strongly up today?
Never has the company had better news than today, and after briefly, ever so briefly
touching 35, it's ended up down 10% from yetserday.

That caught me off-guard; I'm looking to hold this stock until at least 50, but today was
perhaps a missed chance to gain some sustainable ground.
