Mile, I do not know how "integrated" the Timna is going to be, but it seems it might obviate the need for Camino or an equivalent chipset, at least a good chunk. The Timna should facilitate the penetration of DRDRAM into the low end PC's and probably few other applications, IMHO. That is just fine, since during the first full year from the launch of the DRDRAM, mostly high end system will be able to bear the "big price premium" of DRDRAM. Within a year, DRDRAM costs and pricing will come down its own learning curve and at some point, when volume really blows up, might even be equivalent to "cheapies" like SDRAM.
