Well, for me eternity is simply the expression in time of what infinity is in space. It is certainly possible and potentially true, but in some ways begs the question.

Either there was something before our universe, both in time and in space, or there was nothing, or the universe is infinite in both time and space.

All three of these views are impossible to prove, and nearly impossible to grasp, so...

I continue to view these things as unanswerable, so I don't propose to answer them. However I do think about them. All too much probably.

Here's a related thing I like to propose:

Every time that science opens up a particle, they find more particles inside. Could it not be assumed that the universe is not only infinitely big, but also infinitely small?
