E!:
OK, you're right, and I'll be the first to admit it; I get distracted easily
No, no...you've misunderstood my comments. I simply meant that I don't have the financial wherewithal to keep pace with that number of acquisitions.(Just between us, though, I think that nasty, nasty TSO was taking a dig at you--sh-h-h, he might be listening..<ggg>) Come to think of it, Duane, your list ain't the shortest I've ever seen either. If memory serves, apart from a tidy number of individual stocks, you have every Van Wagoner fund in the universe.
Let's face it, folks, we're just not cut out to be 'one-stock' kind of investors. Frankly, I'd be bordering on catatonia with one or two holdings even if the returns were superior to my current hare-brained approach.
Is there a 'SPA' (Stock Pickers Anonymous) we can join?
Regards, Wolf
p.s. Have been following the--um--debate, yeah, that's it--debate on the LSI thread with some interest and amusement. Mr. Lawyer doesn't know that you can't sc***w with an actuary about numbers. Been there--done that. |
