Tulip.com has just made a 24 billion offer for Justabid.com. I have a friend who works in a building across the way from the Justabid.com campus and he said there have been a number of limousines in and out all day. It's dark there now but the lights are still on in the board room. Apparently, there is a guy in there who looked like he just got off the golf links, Frankie Lane or something is his name, my buddy thinks.

If anything can re-establish the internet stock rally, this will.

(BTW, can anyone tell me why the word, "internet" is not recognized by the spell checker on SI? Is this a sign?)
