<This article confirmed my view that PC133 is a mere stop-gap solution.>
This article only confirmed that for every new chipset,
with high time-to-market pressure, there are several
performance bugs that usually have the last priority
in chip debug. This most likely includes numerous FIFO
buffers inside the VIA chip that are not running
concurrently, the SDRAM timing is most likely relaxed
to most safe (all turn-around and precharge times),
and who know what else. You better tell us how many
spins it took for Intel to make the 440BX chip.
