Yeah, I just love it when liberals talk of targeted tax cuts. Reminds me of their absolute arrogance.

I've always complained about the way the government tries to modify behavior by providing tax incentives/disincentives. But I was never REALLY affected by it until I decided to start looking to buy a home. Actually, a vacation home. There are so many rules pertaining to what constitutes a rental home vs. your second residence. I won't get into them here, but thrust me, it's a hassle. And the really funny part is that there are actually MULTIPLE ways you can calculate your taxes: the IRS way and the Tax Court way. There's a difference? Oh man, things are even worse than I thought.
