David,

It has been too easy to make money in the market- a sure sign of nearing a top. Call credit spreads look like they may be the way to play the market. May even try some not too deep out of the money spreads.

Have been watching the XLE options since they have started trading and the last three months have noticed that a straddle could have been bought for between 1/2 and 5/8 pts. with 2-5 days remaining. Every time the trade would have produced at least a double. Don't know how many contracts you would be able to get but I may give it a try this month if the opportunity presents itself again. Not a volatile index but I can't ever remember being able to do a straddle for this little.

Regards,

Ken
