oops... went back and read it in full instead of skimming.... guess Madison didn't use terminology like "floats your boat." In the case of individual narcissistic overindulgence, it's not only possible but probable that social ostracism by family, friends, peers, and neighbors would work better than the current prison industrial complex (PIC) as upheld by the republicans. Have you heard the joke about gun rights? Neither party is serious about them because the republicans hate rights and the democrats hate guns... If you were to get Alan Keyes as prez candidate that would be exciting. None of the rest particularly "float my boat." <g> The post was thought-provoking in any event, and certainly had better ideas in it than what we see from the socialist mainstream. FWIW Andy
