Gee, I'm impressed you consider my writing jouralism of any sort; I'll settle for irresponsible <g>.

I don't see a distinction, Mike. Both were accused of monopolistic arm twisting, and imho, both were clearly guilty. Intel stepped up and said they'd quit it; Mr. Softee said something equivalent to "screw you, prove it". Both Intel and Msft thought their actions were within their rights, but intc decided to cut its losses and negotiate. Where's the big difference?
