George, On the other hand, Timna might be a great way to sell 500 MHz low cost pc's to the masses in mid-2000 that are less expensive than what will be available from alternatives that don't integrate all those functions on a chip. Remember Timna will be start to be produced on .18 micron technology and costs for the Timna will probably compare quite favorably to a less integrated approach. Granted that some functional flexibility is lost but if Intel can continue to create new upgraded Timna iterations, then the low end will be given a great product for a great price. Nothing wrong with that. For the record - very long on RMBS & INTC. Barry
