Dear Don;

I wonder also about this verse in Luke 12:5, Yeshua speaking to "His friends";

12:5 But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, who after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

If hell is a symbol of the second death, was Yeshua just being redundant? In context it seems clear that hell is much more frightening than death alone. Both Lazarus and the rich man died but their experience "after" death was very different. Little room for confusion when such clear words are spoken by the Messiah Himself.
