Slightly off topic. Concerning Jubak dumping Citrix. I have followed Jubak's column for over a year now and have read his news group, I do not put much weight in what he has to say. IMHO, his dd is not thurough, he frequently fails to either see, or acknowledge important factors which could be contributing to a stocks performance. I also feel that he does quite a bit of rationalizing to support his picks, or dumps. Anyway, as it applies to Ctxs, in Jubak's article he cited concerns with y2k and difficulty in understanding what the company does as factors that could likely keep the co. from returning 30% or more for the year. Personally I don't feel the difficulty in understanding the product should be much of a concern, considering it certainly didn't hinder a 60% return for him. As for y2k, we seem to have come to a consensus that it will be pretty much a non event for Citrix. I think there are still many factors in it's favor, but what really intrigues me though, is the possibility for Citrix to find substantial growth in areas not generally considered and factored into the analysts estimates.
