FYI--Tom D. Westfort Energy Ltd. 6/2/99 - Commences Drilling Program WESTFORT ENERGY LTD ("WT-T;WSFTF-L") - Commences Drilling Program Whitney Pansano, President of Westfort Energy Ltd, announced that the company has finalized the closing of $750,000 U.S. drilling funds. The funds are earmarked to drill the first of a planned series of wells to approximately 12,000 ft in Pelahatchie Field and Gillsburg Field. The first well planned is a direct offset to the Johnny Rhodes 7-6 well in Pelahatchie Field. The new well will be staked and permitted as the Johnny Rhodes 7-6 No.2. It is anticipated that the permit will be secured within one week and that site preparation will begin shortly after the permit is received. Once the location is prepared, a drilling rig will be moved in to drill the well on a turnkey contract. After moving in and rigging up, actual drilling time should be 20 to 25 days. Completion of the well will take an additional two weeks from the time the drilling rig is moved off of location.
