Richard, Andy mentioned MACD and the main trend and what I was looking for is the "weekly" MACD. I understand what you are saying about the problem with eyeballing but in this case it is not really that difficult. I understand now why you like VHF better then ADX, it looks more like an Oscillator and you don't use Oscillators. May be that is why you like it! Christopher
