Peter, You have shared some good materials. The only thing I would say is yes you can use Oscillators when ADX is greater then 20 only if you trade in the direction of the main trend. You know that stocks in an uptrend do pull back and an oscillator at that point is good if you want to enter trade.

A lot of people researched ADX after Wilder created it. Lebeau and Lucas did quite a bit of work and testing with ADX. They say if ADX is 15 and going up then you have started good trend. If your scan result in a stock with ADX above 10 and below 15 then you can watch the stock and time your entry according to what you feel confortable with. My 10 to 15 ADX value was recommended for scanning stocks and not trading them. This kind of scan would yield potential stocks poised for good moves.
