Microforum strengthens Board of Directors with appointment of François de Gaspé Beaubien

TORONTO, June 3 /CNW/ - Microforum Inc. (TSE:MCF) is pleased to announce
that Mr. François de Gaspé Beaubien, President, Publishing Divisions and
Vice-President, Business Development for Telemedia Communications Inc. has
been appointed to the Board of Directors of Microforum Inc. The appointment
of Mr. de Gaspé Beaubien fills a vacancy on the Board of Directors and joins
the Honorable David Peterson, Efrim Boritz, Donald Paterson and Howard Pearl
as the other Board members.
Mr. de Gaspé Beaubien brings to the Board over ten years of business
development experience in the publishing industry. He is currently
responsible for the publishing of some of Canada's leading consumer-oriented
magazines including Canadian Living, Coup de pouce, TV Guide, Sympatico
NetLife, Style at Home, and Homemaker's. By way of background, Mr. de Gaspé
Beaubien holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and is actively
involved in a variety of charitable causes and community work.
